At the Animal Care Clinic we do not substitute cheap for safe nor do we substitute easy for effective. We make every effort to make your pet’s experience painless. The Animal Care Clinic has been at the current location since 1975. Dr. and Mrs. Stenstrom have owned the Animal Care Clinic since 1999. We are the longest serving veterinary facility in Junction City.

2 Legged and 4 Legged Staff

Dr. Stenstrom is an area native being born and raised on a farm in northern Morris County near White City. Dr Stenstrom is a 1989 graduate of Kansas State University and holds licenses in Arizona, Colorado, Kansas and South Dakota.

Dr. Stenstrom is active in the community he serves. He is currently Vice Chairman of the Geary Community Hospital Board of Trustees, a member of the Junction City Family YMCA Board of Directors, a member of the Geary County/Junction City Animal Shelter Board, and a member and past President of Junction City Rotary Club. His recreational passion is the outdoors.

Dr. and Mrs. Stenstrom have 2 children and three grandsons. They are currently owned by 6 dogs and one cat.
